Produktbeschreibung

Berühmt wurde die Firma Ka-bar vor allem durch ihre Serien von Militärmessern, wie das USMC Marine Corps Knife oder später das Next Generation Fighting Knife. Das Ka-Bar USMC-Modell wurde während des Zweiten Weltkriegs standardmäßig von der US-Marine verwendet, und die Soldaten nutzten diese Messer nicht nur als Waffen, sondern auch als Hilfsmittel bei anderen Tätigkeiten.

Ka-Bar-Messer wurden auch während der Konflikte in Vietnam, Korea und der Operation Wüstensturm im Irak vom Militär verwendet, und viele fanden Fans unter Wanderern und Bushcraft-Enthusiasten.

Das D2 Extreme Fighting/Utility Knife ist vermutlich das erste Messer mit feststehender Klinge aus D2-Stahl. Letzteres ist am häufigsten bei Spezialmessern zu finden. Lasergeschnittene Klingen und ein dreistufiges Wärmebehandlungsverfahren machen diese Messer perfekt für die härtesten Aufgaben. Der Griff ist Polymer - Kraton G, passt perfekt in der Hand und rutscht nicht. Die Scheide ist aus bewährtem Kydex gefertigt.
